Mian Shakeel Aslam---Taliban attack in southern Afghanistan, killing eight officers anddestroyed a police station, a spokesman for the province said Wednesday.
At least three other officers were wounded in the attack Tuesday night near Lashkar Gah in Helmand province, Daoud Ahmadi, according to the spokesman.
An investigation revealed that it was an inside job, he said.
"It is now clear that a police officer contacts with the Taliban after, urged the

It was the second attack by the terrorist group in the province that day, he said.
